Default 427 YSI Build (Texas Chainsaw Massacre)

Well guys I have been gathering parts for a few months now. Finally got nearly everything together thanks to Arun@CCP. After all the success that Arun has had with the YSI kit from A and A I decided to go that rout. Also Arun advised me to go 10rib. So I went with a Inovative west 10 rib crank pulley and CCP's 10 rib conversion, 2 inch Kooks headers and CCP's Blower radiator. The snow really set things back with shipping but finally Fedex showed up with a big box. Well again I want to thank Arun and Bret for helping me decide and for their wealth of knowledge. Crank pulley is already on motor and rack spaced forward, oil pan drilled and tapped. So for most part hard work is done. With this build I am shooting for 900rwh plus 9.0s in 1/4. Here are some specs on motor.

03 Z
427 Darton wet sleeved
ETP 255 heads
CCP custom blower cam (Big)
RPM 4L65 conversion

Here are some pics

A and A's ram air intercooler

I have a 10 rib blower pulley just not in pic.

Thanks man. Arun is one amazing dude! He really knows his stuff and I really look up to him.

Shane, I can't wait to see you roll down the track with this setup buddy. You'll be posting up the best times you have ever posted to date. I promise!

Is that Doc's motor you have the blower hanging on?

Thanks for the kind words guys-I'm guessing this is gonna cost me lot of Papa John's, Whitecastle Burgers and Dos Equis at Z06Fest this year

Looking forward to seeing how this build progresses bro-believe me, it's gonna be trouble free compared to the Kenne Bell Hell you had to deal with.

I'm guessing your serving notice to the Arkansas Street Car class-by massacreing it?

That's going to be a sweet combo! I'm not sure if it was you or not, but didn't you have a kenne bell set up and then switched out to a ttix kit? Anyways, your current build will spit out low 9 sec passes no problem

Let the massacreing begin.

Should be a good year of racing. Good luck with the new setup.

F1R is just a bracket swap away-but this YSi should be good for a 159+ in the quarter.
