I have a kenne Bell S/C'er and I want to put a 8rib balancer on it,I think I'm starting to get a wobble! So what should I go with? and is there a reason to go with an underdrive or overdrive or should I stick with the stock size?
Get the Innovaters West balancer 8" overdrive balancer-it's pretty much standard issue for all us blower guys. Give Steve@A&A or Chris@ECS a ring as they keep them in-stock.

Thanks for the reply, can you tell me whats the advantage to the overdrive vs stock size.I was thinking the innovators was the one I would want.
I saw that the other day and it got me thinking,if I was home right now I would probably get yours, but right now I have about 10 million more pounds of fish I need to catch so it would be just sitting in my garage till June when I go home, think I'll get the IW,looks alot prettier even though its not visable.

The advantage with the IW is it will turn your blower faster without the need to put a smaller blower pulley on your head unit. This will lead to less slip and more boost for you.

Exactly! I bought the IW for mine which was part of a complete 8 rib kit.. Call Doug at ECS, when I was shopping for just the balancer he had the best price on them.. They are pricey but very well built.
Since I have my stock balancer pinned already, will that be an issue with the IW balancer? Do I need to get anything else special to pin the IW on.Thanks again to all you guys that have answered.

Yes, you should buy IW's pinning kit (which I just so happen to have for sale).
I think I'll take it,but do you know will there be any issues since my crank is already pinned,I will take it to the guy that does all my work,I'm just wondering, when he installs it,does he need to try and use the same pinning hole, but drill it deeper for the IW,or do you drill a new spot,if so that doesn't harm the crank? PM me your info and if everything is ok I'll paypal you + the 3%.Thanks

I would recommend drilling a new hole. The pin used by this IW kit is smaller than other pins I've seen in other kits. I really don't see any problem with drilling a new hole (not that you have much alternative) — maybe someone else can chime in? I'll send you a PM.
