Default A&A Question

I am really looking in to getting an A&A kit for my 2000FRC but i have a worry or 2.
I know that if i run less than 9psi my stock internals can last ( but not a garuntee) but how long will my clutch last?

2nd) we have very strict emmision laws here in B.C and i know i can get it retuned to pass as there is always a way, but i am wondering if installing this kit makes the engine throw a code IE) engine light. If so the car automatically fails.
Can anyone chime in here
Thanx

A&A Kits were developed by their own research and are time tested and proven.

Here in Southern California, emissions are pretty tough. With a their first generation supercharger setup, I had no problems passing the sniffer test on smog (even with my long tube headers!). I also did not see any error codes as a result of the install. I was just at their shop yesterday and it was full of cars. I presume their second generation kit handles smog as well if not better.

Trust me... you're so going to love it

I just got my car back from A&A yesterday. I upgraded my supercharger headunit and front end setup.... making 600 HP to the rear wheels!

You should upgrade your clutch.

Properly installed and tuned will pass emissions and not throw any codes. How long the clutch will last is all up to you.

At 9psi, the clutch may last through the 1-2 shift. 'Probably not the 2-3 shift.

In all seriousness, it will last plenty long as a drivable clutch. I would start thinking about its replacement immediately if you want it to be there every time you drive aggressively.
