Just got my car yesterday and was looking things over.
Theres two lines going into the intake itself (im assuming dry?) right before the rubber coupling. its 100 shot. colder plugs.
Is the fuel pump okay? Is it necessary to switch to a wet plate?
I just dont want any issues. I was also told it was tuned to be safe. not for high HP gain.
A dry nitrous shot should be in front of the MAF. It should be there so the MAF can measure the air temp and ammount of air going into the engine and the correct ammount of fuel. A wet shot is generally near the throttle body since it adds fuel for it self. 2 lines sounds like a wet shot. One for the nitrous and one for the fuel.
The two lines go into 1 fitting
Right by the corvette symbol on the intake "tubing". Which seems like a dry system. Will it be safe? Obviously the tune needs to be good. I just wasnt sure about the stock fuel system
the whole point is to kind of avoid that. if i popped something within 6 months of owning it, the fiance....well wife at that point, would never let me live it down.
2 line into 1 nozzle = wet
Stock fuel system will handle it.
You need to know the AFR. That will tell you if it is "safe".
Do you have:
1. a bottle heater on there
2. lean cutout switch
3. window switch.. if so, what is it set at
4. 1st gear lockout switch
5. pressure gauge
take a couple pics and post them up if you have any other questions
it has a bottle heater and a digital pressure gauge.
as far as the others, i dont think so.
but i will be getting a nitrous outlet progressive switch before i use it.
I'm pretty sure their progressive switch is also a window switch. LS1tech nitrous section will be your best friend. Beer and the guys will lead you down the path to the dark side.
