I run MSD's, but have to meter them every time I remove and reinstall them because they break. I bought a second set to replace each one as it goes bad.

My next purchase will be the GMPP (GM performance parts) wires. Good wires and inexpensive.

I've also always liked the Taylor wires due to their nice boots

Thank's Bret!

Well, the reason I'm asking is because I absolutely have to replace the MSD wires that are on the car due to them litterally falling apart when I removed them. I was as gentle with them as I could be. I had a friend who recommended taylor as well. 8mm or 10mm wire????

I thought i read a post on here (years ago), and the resistence/quality of the stock wires were better than the GMPP wires.... Just sayin.

Taylors have the same problem, i bought 2 boxes and replaced them as i went... I now have the stockers back on...

I'm running the MSD's. Perfect for those of us with truck coils because they are longer

The gmpp wires from what I've seen are the best as far as being to reuse them many times without any issues.

Accel Extreme 9000

Worked very well for me, as far as I can tell, no durability issues when removed and replaced.

Im running universal MSD's (relocated my coil packs) and they seem good to me! I ran the GMPP and no problems too.

might be slightly different length but I have found anything from GM for a C6 (I like the shape of the boot better than the LS1/6 style) works great.

I'm running Granatelli spark plug wires on both my cars. They have like a 2 on the resistance. I checked them out with a meter, and it's true. I too got tired of the MSD breaking...

Had nothing but problems with any factory gm truck or car wire. Nothing BUT problems. Wires are a route cause to so many peoples problems. I have had good results with MSD's, although I have gone through a couple of failures, I personally run taylor 10mm custom fit to length wires on my white car. Would love to know the actual part number myself but, I have no idea....it's been a while.

Taylor wires for me (pn TAY-74044 from Summit). The boots on the MSDs are terrible in my opinion.
