ls2 maggie into a c5 LS1

How much of a problem is it to install a maggie from a 2006 c6 on my 99 c5? Is it worth considering it or should I pass?

It sould not be an issue, differences on the LS-2 system =

- 90mm Throttle Body

- Heat exchanger, will fit the C5 with new brackets

I recomend to look the instructions on our web site to help you see any additional differences...

Drv side fuel rail needs to be cut shorter.

Been there done that. It fits.

how so? do you have pics?

can you just purchase rails from the c5 kit?

No I don't have pics but driver side fuel rail was too long. It hit the cowl. I just machined 1/3" off and made new thread to it. I don't know what's the difference in C5/C6 kits, haven't assembled a C5 kit. I bought a C6 kit and made it fit to a LS1 C5. It was fairly easy.

so its safe to say the that the c6 accessory spacing is the same as the c5?

I must correct my previous statements.. My fact are based on LS2 112 kit on a C5 LS1. Not 122 kit.. It might fit also but it's considerably longer and it's tight fit compared to 112 kit.
