If you dont have a leak then it looks like belt. I had belt slip with only the 8 rib set up on mine. I then went to flip drive and the from a 3.25 pulley to a 3.0 pulley and making alot more boost and H.P with no belt slip now with just over 18 on the boost gauge. Robert Give BLOWNBLUEZ06 a p.m. on your post and see what he tells you..

Ya I had similar with my 8 rib setup ecs kit,I was @ the tuner on thedyno& crunch time ,car wasntmaking over 8lb of boost & iafter numerous calls. To chris & doug we realized the tensioner was sittingaround 2.00 pm on the clock, changed the idler pulley to another slot & gained 200rwhp ,not saying this your issue butthis was an issuei had @1 time & was fixed by an idler pulley slot swap, this will help allow more belt wrap around the bottom of the balancer,if u don't have the tensioner wrench byall means get 1, u can clamp it to ur cradle. Take care of buisiness & then tighten the top tensioner before letting the clamp loose on the bottom tensioner, this will help hold the bottom tensioner all the way out & that's what u want with the ecs kit, goodluck with it,jd

Something doesn't sound right! With that pulley and the 8" crank you should be making over 15lbs of boost! Make sure your pulleys are aligned properly and as mentioned the tensioner next to the crank needs to be between the 12-1 oclock position...you may need a shorter belt.

That's what it sounds like to me.

The belt can be very tight, but if the tensioner is not fully opened when the belt stretches during a WOT pull it will bottom out the tesioner and cause the boost to drop.

You should be making a lot more boost then you are, so something is definitely off. Feel free to call the shop if we can help you with anything.
