Default tuning NOS

Hi

i'm finishing my NOS install
92mm plate setup
Standalone cell
NOS launcher controller

I have jets 50-100-150-200

Setup>
C5 vette MN6 3.42gears
Ls2 404ci 11.4CP TFS215cc FAST92mm Kooks 1"7/8 ans so on

I use HPT for logging and tuning , my only motor setup has the AFR set to 12.8 and Spark is 25-27 degree SAVE threw the rpm band, but it's not knocking in 29-30 degree but it's not gaining much above 28

so i was gona start whith 100 shots on pump gas 93 and work my way up, maby gona but some blend of race gas into the cell to be extra save but tune it for pump only

questions is?
1. The AFR NA is right will i need to fine tune it on the spray or are the jets doing that work.
2. AFR on Nos where will i wante to see that mid 11´s or ??
3. Timing: Where should i have my timing set at??
( i´ve read to take 2°off each 50shots so 4° should do it but it´s better to take more off first like 5-6°right and work my way up)
4. i´ve also read to pull the plugs after nos runs to see the colour, is that nessecery if i´m logging the car for both AFR and Knock??
5. Plugs: i have both NGK 7 irridium and NGK 8 too should i use the 7´s for the 100 shots or go straight to 8´s
6. plugs2: should i have them stock gapped or what ?

thanks

Baezi

1. jets do it, but check plugs often to determine lean or rich
2 12.5
3. depends on what its at now
4. i say 2 off for every 50 after 100 shot
5 start with 7 with 100 and see how that goes
6 30-35

NOS is a name brand of Nitrous system. N2O is in the bottle.

You should get yourself over to ls1tech.com and visit the nitrous section.

Read all of the stickies in that section then ask questions.

Sarge

Edit: never mind I see you posted over there. Read the stickies in the section first.
