Pop off valve

Car is over at CMS getting an A&A kit installed. Yesterday on the dyno run the Mass Airflow Sensor housing came apart from the pressure. After using epoxy to put it back together they ran the car again and said they found a problem with the pop off valve not opening, which is what caused the MAF to come apart. Anyone heard of this?

its blow off valve (BOV)
its not uncommon for the maf to come apart, the make braces for them. u can test the bov to see if it working and make sure the vacume hose is still on it.

My bov (POP of valve)lol split also on my ws6 from the ic tubes being slightly off . Make sure every things lined up and def get a dif valve

A&A makes a cradle that strengthens the MAF. I installed one after mine broke and have not had any more problems. A larger BOV might help some, but the cradle is the answer.

We're replacing the valve to see if that fixes the problem...

Man call A/A I am sure andy will do something on it. But get a really good one for the car. Like big red plus I sent now old one off the car to them and got a diff one and it works ton better and sounds alot better also.....
