LPE pump install
I'm in the middle of installing my LPE pump......
The wiring on the supplied connector is different than what came out of my stock pump.
Can I just plug the existing connector into the new pump.

Thats what I did.
I contacted LPE and told them that this would have been IMPORTANT information to provide
I carefully removed the wires on my sending unit and plugged them in the new connector
And while we are on the topic my guage did not read correctly after install and I ended up filling the tank all the way to get it to work and then you need to let the car relearn everything in reference to proper reading. I drove and kept resetting my avg miles and instant mileage until it finally was correct.

I wanted to avoid repinning the connector for the sending unit.
What I would like to do is just use all of the existing wiring and just take the plug that goes to the actual pump and plug it into the new one.
That way there is way less chance that I will break something.

The plug fits in the new pump so I think it will be O.K.,but I would like to know for sure.
I have an e-mail to A&A so hopefully I will get an answer soon.
