Default Question about gears

I was going to replace my half shafts with some stronger ones and was
also thinking about putting 3.90's in the car.

The car is a 01 z06 with cam and boltons that made 410rwhp
I'm planning a supercharger with meth in a year or so.

So my question is, are any of you guys running 3.90's or 4.10's
at a 550 to 650 hp level and if so good or bad.

The car is not a dd and will see some 1/4 mile time.

I have 4.10 with supercharger, Head, Cam. 624RWHP. It all depends on how and where your driving.1/4 mile, with a 4.10 and that much power you will be shifting(more) into 5th gear. If your street racing or racing from a dig(hole shot) then you will love the 4.10. Even road course it will be fun as hell but if you like top end highway pulls 60-170mph then stick with a 3.42.
Hope this is helps

Not really into the high mph.
More like 0-100. I was really just wondering how bad if any wheel spin
was, I have a r comp tire so they should help.

Thanks

Most I think will say a good all round gear set up in these c5 is a 3:42.

A good size diff from 3:42 to 3:90 even in a stock vette going from the 2:76 or the 3:15 to a 3:42 is a good diff inhow the car pulls. Then if you look at 550 rwhp in a 3:90 hope you only race someone from 60 mph on a roll.... Robert

I haven't been able to drive a lot with my 3.73's. But the gears really, really wake the car up. It feels like every gear is dropped down a gear. 3rd feels like 2nd used to. 4th pulls like the old 3rd and so on...

I've been running a Unitrax/Quaife 373 built diff for many years now. With R compound tires, and a bit of Throttle control, I can lay down the power pretty well...

Here's a recent run at the track with the 373s:
