ok well after my car being at the tuner for a month now and all issue's resolved it was set to be finished today. but since im making a thread im sure you can guess what happened with that.
he calls me and tells me " well your fuel pressure and boost are normal but as soon as we started to run the meth it lost 100 hp"
so he was thinking maybe its blowing the spark out? what are all you meth heads running for plug gap? i have new plugs i gapped at .033 is that ok? the ones he pulled out were gapped at .040
so now my car wont be done untill thursday i guess.....ugh im getting so tired of waiting...
could there be any other reason for 100 hp lost?
as stated boost steady at 13.5psi no belt slip
fuel pressure steady also
another question i guess, when they set up the fuel pressure its running 58 psi at idle then when boost hits its up at 70-75psi it seems like that is too much and out of the pumps efficiency range( stealth 340 w/BAP). i asked them to set it at 48 psi with the boost reference off. what say you?

I run my BR7EF plugs at a .030 gap. Id venture to say .040 was way too much gap.
Also, I've always understood you need to remove the vacuum source at the FPR and set it to ~58psi. Then, hook the vacuum source back up and let it pull the fuel pressure down. Depending on many variables, you should be idling with a pressure of high 40's/low 50's.
I had this issue as well. Plugs were gapped to .038-.040 and car was blowing the spark out. I gapped to .028-.030 and issue was resolved. I also found an article on indexing the plug toward the intake valve to get the most out of the spark. Looked interesting, but I haven't posed a thread on here to get opinions. When I pulled the plugs 2 of them showed indications of the spark behind the ground strap with leads to it being extinguished by the rush of air.
I'm not running boost referenced. Set the pressure at 58psi and it stays at 58 psi all the way through the rpms.
