Default Fast intake map sensor and FI

For those of you running a Fast intake and FI how did you secure the map sensor? If I recall correctly the Fast intake has no provisions for securing the map sensor (not that there is a lot of room). I'm sure any significant boost is going to pop that sucker right out of there.
How did you guys handle this?

At 14 psi I have to believe that you popped that sucker right out of there. I can't believe Fast didnt provide any mechanism to secure the sensor. I suppose you could screw a barb fitting in there and relocated the sensor or just plug it and run the sensor off of another manifold vacuum source.

If I run vacuum off of the brake booster line and insert a brass plug into the map sensor whole on the manifold I should be ok right?

I read that someone popped the map sensor out of an LS6 manifold and those use a clip to hold it in so I have to believe that FAST owners have to do some type of mod with FI applications.

I blew mine out with a 4.0 pulley. I just made a metal bracket and screwed into the intake. I also installed an iat sensor into the back of the fast with a millimeter to spare.

yes you can. Ive also in the past tee'd into the A/C vacuum line (the one that plug into the passenger side on the back of the intake). Any good vacuum source will work for the map.

This is how we do them now. Works great and easy to get to the map for a 3 bar upgrade

What are you using to seal the map sensor hole on the intake?

Use a 2-part epoxy.....I filled the hole up in the front of the intake & drilled it after it cured. 3M Automix 8115, can even be tapped if you leave enough meat.
