So I have a fully built and supercharged z currently putting down 706rwhp. With in the next month im taking out my procharger set up and installing a ysi set up, along with an rsi stage 3 fuel system and bigger injectors, my goal is 850+ rwhp on pump and meth. I recently just took part in the group buy and bought lm5 fender flares and am torn between 18's or 19's and not sure on what tire to go with. I know the car comes stock with 295/35/18s which are like alil over 26inches tall so i was worried about going taller and raising the gears. . . . What do you guys think between mickey thompson 345/35/18s (27.5 height), hoosier 335/30/18 (25.9 height), bfg drag radials 345/30/18s, or should i step up to 19s and do a nitto nt05 dr 345/30/19 (27.1 height). Im dont really drag the car but i would like it to hook on the high way at like 40-50 in 2nd also i dont drive it in rain and would still want it to handle at higher speeds. . thanks for the help
At that power level I don't think it really matters what's on there. Nothing is hooking at a 40-50 roll. After 3000 rpm's every corner will be screaming!!! IMO that's part of the fun. Nothing like breaking loose at 70 mph ( controlled of course) 19 I think would look the best though as far as appearance. Good luck

hmmm alot people been telling me the same thing . .
Around here everyone runs the 345 M/T's and hook pretty good on 800hp nitrous cars, I would think that a blower car would hook. I have the same car as you, blown, a little less HP, mid600's and 390 gears, and I hook on 305 M/T's. Of course I can flat shift it and spin em' if I want, but I drive with a little more finesse and they are fine. I am thinking of the fenders and widened stockers for the 345's myself.

I am running M/T D/R 345 35 18 with 13in wide CCW 500 on the rear. This is the biggest tire and rim that will go under the car and fender without having the car tubbed also. I like what I am running under her also.... Robert
