Nitrous Solenoid Mounting
Hey Guys, im going to be relocating my nitrous solenoids this weekend and i ordered the nitrous outlet solenoid brackets part# 00-54021 that mount on top of the intake manifold so i can put my fuel rail covers on. I also bought a nitrous outlet plate kit from a friend. I'm gonna use hard tubing instead of lines like the picture below.i was wondering if anyone has any pics of the setup and if they ran into any issues with the brackets...

I had that exact kit on my car prior to the current build. You'll have to cut notches in your fuel rail covers so they clear the hard lines. Here's my old setup...

Purge solenoid was mounted to the nitrous solenoid with a 45 degree npt fitting, line was routed under the driver side fuel rail cover, down by the alternator, then vented out of the heat extractor on the tigershark hood. It was a pretty clean setup. Only thing I would do differently would be to go with a different timing retard/window switch. I used the Timing Tuner and it didn't like it when I banged it off the rev limiter. It wouldn't activate again until I shut the engine off and restarted it.

Man that looks fun. Making me wish I'd kept the nitrous.

Looking at setting up a nitrous system on my 99. In the pic of the fuel solenoid, coming off it on the one side is the FPSS, what is on the other side of the T opposite the the FPSS?

Le Mans Master
One side is a fuel pressure sender for an aftermarket guage and the other is nitrous/fuel satey switch. If the fuel pressure gets to low it will disconnect the circuit and turn the nitrous solenoid off.

i haven't ordered the hard lines yet,but this is what it looks like for now. Minus the main line being on top of the intake manifold like shown, it's under the FRC now
