Default pat g blower cam

I had pat g spec me a blower camshaft for my car. I asked for a good street cam, 346ci ls6 with stock heads, 6spd and 9-10psi through a t-trim. What do you guys think of this cam?

226/234 .605"/.612" 116lsa+2 advance

Cam should work real nice... Close to mine 226/232 .59x/.59x 115LSA... Mine makes decent power...

I got a 231/243 .617.623 118+4 cam in my car. Installing a Novi2000 in it right now.
You will be over 600hp with 10psi & meth with your current mods.

Seems like a good cam spec, I say go with it but put more advance into it(+4). Your low end torq numbers will be a little better.

What would you recommend for a stock cubed 346 for 1/4 mile? Just because I want to learn, could you let me know what makes that cam not good for the 1/4 mile?

Big Duration, Under .600 lift cut it on a 112LSA That will do ya good in the 1/4 mile. With a bigger duration you can spin more RPM's

But if when he puts that blower on his car that cam will really shine... Not good for an N/A car tho.

haha why?? because of the LSA?? blower cars don't car what size the cam is.. LSA is where its at.. 113 or below if you want to make power and get somewhere quick..if you want to cruise around all day and talk about that big dyno sheet.. put it at 118 and let the tuner do a complete tune in 30 minutes..

Arun- Do you mind elaborating?? My time slip matters way more than my dyno sheet, so I am very curious!

He is talking about putting a blower on his car, so the wider LSA is perfect and easier to tune. So you yea your right a tighter LSA will get you more power down low and be more difficult to tune. But the wider LSA cams will get you were you want to be with a blower, same as a N/A just a different setup.
Who doesn't like big numbers either on the track or on the dyno???

My buddy runs the SC2 SpeedInc Cam. 224/232 .588/.595 on 114 LSA. Made right at 600rwhp with a P1SC 9-10psi. Stock bottom end with ported 317 heads. NO meth. Car drives like stock with a lil lope. Awesome drivability.

From a tuners perspective , its prefect... It a tuner has trouble tuning a lower LSA..they are not a tuner.. which is what the majority of so called tuners have trouble with... their are only a few "tuners out there... that is.. the rest just copy someone else's work, then change 2 cells, call it good..

The OP seems to want a cam to make a difference in his performance, if hes looking for sound... or totally stock car feel, maybe that cam would work... but then whats the point of a cam at all??

Big LSA car will lag... much like a turbo under WOT.. smaller LSA can run very very close to stock with the right tuner....that's been the way it is for 20 years.. just in the "corvette" world for some reason everything is so different... its still just a motor that air needs to go thur quickly..that's about it.. its not rocket science nor should it sound that way.

The ICL of the cam-it's on a 114( 116+2 ), it's going to make the cam real lazy.

Not saying it won't work but it's going to be real lazy as far as getting up in revs from 1500 to 6500.

There's so many options for what you can put in your car for a stock motor.

Just PM me with what you want, your blower and I'll give you some specs.
