I have a Alky Control system fro ECS/ Julio. I am suddenly having trouble with a flooded condition upon start after my car has sat over night etc. I just fixed my alky reservior allowing it to hold a full tank. The hard starts started after this tank was fixed. The car had some white smoke come out the tail pipe when it started. All this to ask, are there issues with siphoning? The car runs great once it gets started. My alky line dips down low before it ascends upward toward the air bridge which should discourage siphoning.
You should have a check valve in the line attached to the filter (could be stuck open a little). Also, Julio sells small check valves that go at the nozzles. Give him a call and he will help you through your issue

The pump will free flow without the check valve, so check that first. Some of the original kits did not have the check valve, so look for it first. It is part of the filter assy and has an arrow on it.

Ok I will check for it. The kit is about 7 years old, but has Julio's newest pump upgrade.

Only part of the filter assembly when it's a dual nozzle system. The single nozzle systems have a check valve just behind the nozzle at the pipe. I would recommend you remove the pipe and let it hang lower than the tank. Drooping hoses won't stop siphoning if the check valve has failed. Only having the jet higher than the top of the methanol level will. If you let that pipe hang over night and put something to catch or guide it to a pan underneath, you'll get your answer.

I ordered a check valve from Julio. My kit is an older one before they started using the check valve. My line goes directly into the elbow that contains the spray nozzle.
