I'm going to be installing the ECS blower cam soon and think I may upgrade the pushrods, lifters, and rockers while I'm in there replacing the springs.
Can anybody tell me what size pushrods would be needed for this? I understand there is a tool I can buy and measure, but considering this is a fairly common setup I thought I could ask and save myself the hassle...?
Motor is a stock LS1 with stock heads.
7.400" are the standard ones that most people toss in without checking. It really is best to verify and measure though. Optimal pushrod length will keep the valvetrain happy and quiet.
I would check with ECS and see what they recommend since it's their cam

new rockers should not effect the length unless the ratio is changed.
The tool is about $20. Use it and you'll KNOW what length you need and how much preload you have. Make the questions go away.
And then I get to wait another 3 days while I order the parts and wait for them to be delivered. If theres a "standard" answer available why make more work? I would completely agree if this was some off the wall combination or something, but it seems like there are quite a few out there. I'll be measuring lifter preload regardless.
Thanks for your help though!
Thanks for all the replies guys! Much appreciated.
