The ECS Novi 2000 setup that is our base kit for the C5 Corvettes, hold numerous E/T & HP records! Our base kit will make 600HP no problem on a stock bottom end (Mind you the 600HP we claim is advertised flywheel horsepower, not rear wheel horsepower).
The worlds fastest supercharged late model Corvette features the ECS Novi kit (8.41@154; With some upgrades), and the worlds fastest stock bottom end C5 also uses the ECS Novi kit (9.73@144; Same kit that is on your car). Doug (Co-Owner of ECS) went 8.63 on the Novi 2000.
If you remove your restrictor plate, we recommend running a methanol kit OR straight race gas. If you want to push the stock bottom end LS1 into the 14psi range, you will be pushing the limits.
If you have any questions regarding the kit feel free to PM, email or call us! We stand behind our kits, and they have been proven over & over to make the most reliable supercharged horsepower.
Thanks Matt, I appreciate the answer. I think I spoke to you on the phone when the belt broke on my car. I had just bought it and was running down the road and the belt broke. I looked you guys up and had to order two tensioners. I think it was you who offered to buy my car as was and I said no way. I much prefer a car with a blower than a car that's wound up tight and all cammed out.
