Besides oil pan, engine acessories, etc, what would you need to swap from an 02 Z06 LS6 Corvette engine over to an engine from a 00 WS6 Trans Am? Background:
I have a built engine for my 00 WS6 that is fully forged, great heads, studded out and built for boost at around 8:75-1 compression. I recently aquired an 02 Z06 that has a blown up engine in it. It will take alot more work to get the 00 WS6 finished up than it would to throw the built engine I have into the corvette in the mean time and throw an m112 Maggie setup that I bought on that car. I could enjoy the corvette and build another engine for the trans am using the LS6 block from the corvette. Thoughts? Trans am engine is stock displacement BTW, but was built for a TT setup I have for the trans am. Cam is mild though, can't remember the exact specs of the top of my head.
Opinions? Figured I'd ask. Just wanted to be able to enjoy one of my projects instead of having a perfectly good engine sit on an engine stand.
