Love my RPM level 6.
With 915hp, I would think an auto would help you more!

You boys down there in Texas should get together and buy a auto drive train set-up & swap it around for the track.
I like the six speed (also have a stock 99 FRC) I rather drive that, then a auto on the street.
Or put a front mount Lenco in there with a gear vendor od, best of both worlds.

For street, hwy pulls, etc I prefer 6 speed. For track at a high power level go auto. Therein lies the dilemma with a dual purpose car.

I truly enjoy the 6spd for a street car. If I enjoyed going to the track a lot then Id spring for an auto.
Keep the TR6060

I'm real happy with my RPM 4L65 auto conversion, and would do it again. You can always keep your parts and switch it back. After 2+ years, I haven't had a single thought about going back...

This is what i do with and want my car to do
Run low 9's maybe a high 8
go 200+ in the mile
60-160 hwy pulls
and still be able to go on high speed back road trips
so which one suits me best? auot or speed

It seems like 3/4 of those demands suit the 6spd better. I seriously doubt you'd ever get 8's out of the manual.

Well I dont see an 8 happening with the 6speed. I imagine running 900rwhp in overdrive would be hell on an auto. Maybe 4drush had something going with his first comment.

Well-this is how I see it.
Do you wanna post up big dyno sheets but
FAIL at the strip-the 6speed is for you.
Do you want to keep spending money on the
clutch of the week -the 6 speed is for you.
Do you want to keep spending money on
axles -the 6 speed is for you.
If you want to just go
fast and send them packing -the auto is for you.
With the right stall and rim and tire package-it's unbeatable on the strip or street.
Only thing is I'm not sure about the 200mph thingy-crossing the traps at 160 was hairy enough.
