I think my meth pump quit working? I was in 2nd gear in boost and something happened. I was able to drive home definetly down on power and really loud. When I opened the hood #6 exhaust header tube had a 3/4" inch hole in the top, right off the head? Is this from lean condition?
Havn't had time to pull the head yet, the spark plug is in good shape it's not broke if that means anything, just hoping.

I'm surprised more people aren't running some alert/fail safe mechanism for the meth - since the results/dangers of running boost without it - when it was setup to depend on it - are pretty severe!!
Or maybe most folks are and I am just not aware of it?!!
Depending on what kit you have, it is very simple to add a LED light to ensure the pump is activating under boost. I believe most kits already have one as part of their kit and few even have a test button to make sure it's working.

My kit has an led its right by my boost gauge by the 5 lb mark which is where it comes on roughly

Damn you melted a hole in the header tube? (although I have never seen/heard of this)
If it went lean enough to melt a hole through stainless steel....I am sure your piston is GONE....
Maybe it spit the head of the exh valve out through the port and thru the header tube?.... Either way the piston/head will be jacked....
Hoping for the best for you...
Time to do a compression/leak down test on it and see what you have.
Unless the LED light is hooked to a pressure switch, it is useless. The LED comes on when voltage goes to the pump, but of the pump don't work, the LED still will.
I've had 2 go out in 5 years, it's part of the game. Once it was obvious when I had a puddle under the car. The 2nd time, I knew something was wrong when I layed into it and got spark knock. I just drove it easy until I got it serviced/replaced. Sounds like you're not so lucky. What's the latest?

Meth pumps do fail from time to time, but I HIGHLY doubt you burned a hole in your header from a lean condition. Your engine would be toast waaaaay before that ever happened.
Any chance you broke an air tube fitting off from the header? More likely if they were blocked of too.

They do, and you do to since I tuned your car.
You can very easily put fail safes in the tune so the car falls on it's face, but the engine is fine if you have a meth problem. I have had several people make multiple runs down the track trying to figure out why the car is slower, (this is something I never understood though, "my car is not running right-lets make a few more passes..) once we were able to diagnose it, we changed the pump and off they went good as new.
