Which Pilot Bearing?
Guys I am hearing that there are two different types of pilot bearings to choose from stock?
Is this true and which is preferred?
I have gone with a twin disk ACT clutch for high hp.
Thanks!

Last year i install GM C5 pilot bearing and went bad on me, but this winter i will be re doing my clutch along with CF pilot BUSHING (not bearing), infact already purchased it, hoping it will solve my prblem.
I have a H/C package however will be going AA Si-trim this winter.

Man it's one decision after another.
I cant have a dumb 10 dollar pilot bearing screwing up this entire operation.
Can you guys help me decide what to buy, in a crunch???

Melting Slicks
It took me awhile to figure out what was goin on. The poly / kevlar one would clamp down on the tip of the driveshaft after the motor was warm and still keep everything turning.
It may work for you, just wanted to give you a heads up before you start pulling the car apart.

Safety Car
I just tore out my kevlar PB. I had a problem after installing it, once the car would heat up, it would drag goin into gears. Like I wasn't pushing the clutch in all the way.

What their talking about is not solid brass it is sintered bronze and is oil impregnated.
It's been around for way more years then even I can remember, it's main advantage is it can tolerate more misalignment then the needle roller.

Burning Brakes
Yep that's what talking about. One of those those things that worked great but somebody had to fix it even though it wasn't broke.
