Default 99 frc vortech help

I am trying to figure out why I am not getting any boost out of my supercharger. It is a Vortech V-2 T. I bought a boost gauge and I cant get it to move the car out of a vaccum at all. I saw maybe a 1psi movement at the most from it.

To tell you a little about the car it has 243 heads a Z06 cam. LT headers, fast intake, z06 exhaust.

I have checked everywhere from vaccum leaks found a few small ones but nothing has changed from fixing those. I doubt my belt is slipping that much. Im starting to wonder if I just need to do a rebuild on the supercharger. Anything else you think I could do before I try this? Thanks!

Did you check for Boost leaks around all the tubing?

You might need to pressurize the system to find any potential leaks -

What pulley you using? 6 rib? what is the gauge hooked up to now?

As many details as possible!

Thanks,Matt

are you getting 1psi at wide open throttle when the car is pulling in the top of the rpm range?

Have you tried to pressurize the gauge with some known pressure source to make sure it's working? Any chance you have a check valve between your vacuum/boost connection and your gauge?

sorry I was slow to getting back and this thread is kinda old. I had nothing connected to the sensor and it showed 0. I plugged the line that was ran from the brake booster to the boost gauge and it would always show a vaccum even in high RPMS it pretty much stayed the same. I took off the BOV and pushed the inside down and the spring seemed to make it pop right back up. Im pretty sure the BOV is good as it took a good amount of force to do. I guess The only thing I can do is pressurise the whole system and see if I can find any leaks. The car is having some charging problems too but I have that started in a different thread. And yeah its an old system 6 rib.
