trunk wire to tap-brown?

What wire u tap for gauge lights so that they come on when lights do? Brown? I will use test light to confirm, but wanted to ask first. Thanks.

I think I used a brown one when I installed the stereo, should be the same. Check the audio forum, pretty sure I found the schematic there.

Test them all with a test light until you get what your looking for...Newer test lights don't have any output to damage circuits. But I still wouldn't go poking at yellow wrapped air bag wires...

Brown wire on the trunk release is the illumination wire that will come on when you hit the parking lights. It will show up as a ground until you hit the lights.
