Powertech Performance recomendation
Just got my 01 M6 coupe back from Powertech Performance [St Pete Auto Aids] in St Petersburg FL. STS system with upgraded BW bullseye turbos, turbo werx pump, Alkycontrol meth, BAP, 60# injectors, gauges,speed density tune a custom oil catch system and other touches. Also had then do the suspension work -NT-05s, C6 sway bars, Bilstien sports and brake work. This is the first time I have ever farmed out an entire project...and it was worth every cent.
Results: 534rwhp, 552tq on 10# and a conservative tune w a wif off meth. This is a stock LS1, 100k w 185# compression. Didnt want to make a race car out of it. Most pleased with the incredibly broad torque curve. Not much lag, but just enough to plant and go rather than blow off the tires. Handles like its on rails, stops like throwing an anchor out, and faster than snot.
TurboJoe and his crew listened carefully to what I wanted, went the extra mile in overcoming many obstacles and problems, spent extra time in dailing the car in, and did a first class professional job on the project. I would not hesitate to recomend this shop to anyone in the Florida area.
