Default Harland Sharp rocker install ?

Ok I changed my stock rockers out for some harland sharps because they say with AFRs the guides are bronze and will wear out with stockers

it seems to have more valve train noise is this just the way they are? I checked my preload and its about the same as the stock ones

thanks for any info! I did a search and found nothing on the characteristic of the rockers

How much preload do you have? Did you mark the valve tips and check to see where the rockers are riding on the valve?

Increased valvetrain noise is the norm for H.S rockers

Buddy check it now and make sure you are riding close the the center for sure here. I have the T&D rocker shaft set up on mine and love them. I went with the T&D set up due to the extra oiling it gives up top dont think you can ever get to much... Make sure all you bearing on the rockers are good and no flat spots. But that is after you check the other 1st what Arun said...

My HS RR's are noisier than the stockers and it is the norm! But I like them!

It looks as if you have them set correctly

Thanks,Matt

Yeah it is what it is - so what I did was apply some sound deadening on the bottom of the Fuel Rail Covers and that really seemed to redirect the sewing machine noise down - or lets say just muffle them perfectly

Thanks,Matt
