Default What to do with the CD changer???

I am considering a TNT wet kit but don't know what to do with the CD changer. Has anyone relocated it and how big of PITA was it?

It is easy. I put mine in the paassanger side compartment. You just unblot it from the brackets and unbolt the brackets. Then put some foam or something around it to keep it from sliding around and put some carpet over it

What about the wiring? Do you have any pics?

Thanks

The only wiring that runs to the changer is a very simple harness that plugs into the bottom of the changer (if you run your hand along the bottom you will feel it) It runs right along the passanger side and you can pull it into the compartment on the left without any problems. I don't have any pics but can take some tomorrow

Here are the pics

The first one shows the back of the changer and you can see where the wiring harness plugs in. The second one shows the harness. The last two show the changer in the passanger side compartment, the carpet is a little screwed up cause I took the changer out and when for the first pics and when I put it back in I just tossed it on

That's an excellent idea! I'm waiting on my NX kit to come in, so I think I'll go ahaed and move the changer now. :smash:
