The cold air intake threads are now more plentiful than the ECS vs A&A threads. And somebody needs to do some market research.

I asked SIRI and she said that I'm fast enough but a cold air intake would surround me with better friends.
Is it still a cold air intake if it's 105 degrees outside and the air coming off the pavement is 120?

I have one of these that I bought off the forum here, I ended up installing one of the cold air grills in the front bumper that goes where the license plate filler use to be. And then I plumped it into this air filter housing with some nice looking pvc fittings. The air is rammed in from the front grill opening into the filter housing and I guess it is as close to ram air as i will ever be. It may be my imagination, but it made a nice increase in performance. I also moved the air temperature sensor to this housing ,,, instead of monitoring hot air ... it now monitors cool air.

Update: I forgot that the 95-96 air bellows fits this assembly perfectly. It least it did on mine. I got a new one on ebay for cheap. I installed all this on my 1987 c4 and I used the 91-96 lower radiator support and went to the newer dual fan set up.
