After seeing multiple E85 thread pop up and a onCue gas station (they carry E85) going in down the street from me, I am thinking about E85.
Come May I am doing a cam and re-tune. I will also have the A&A Fuel System installed by then (with KB boost-a-pump if need). The car has a V3 Si with a 3.8 pulley and methanol injection.
Question is, should I go E85? What type of benefits will I see power and reliability wise? Is it possible to tune for E85 and 91? During my reading I saw that 2004 models have the ability to add a sensor to the gas tank to detect what type of fuel is being used. This would allow for the car to swap timing and fuel tables on the fly correct? This would be a major plus if I got in a spot where I needed to run 91/93 without going full throttle.
my car loves it. The 10mpg i get on it, i however do not like
Question
1. How do you supply your e85 to the car? Gas station or you have a supply at the house?
2. Is he car a daily driver......if so how many miles do you put a week on average?
3. Is the car on pure e85 or does I have a stand alone for e85 and runs on pump?

1. Pump
2. Daily - 220
3. straight e85.
Back on pump now to get fuel mileage back since i now drive 50miles one way to work
i can tell you that I love it. Like Bret said no smell what soever. It is hard on the pocketsa bit specially now that it is getting more expensive. but there is nothing like driving a 700
WHP car every day
12-14 mpg avg if im in 6th at 1500 rpms. Fun afternoon drives hammering hard I go through a tank in an hour easy.
Would never go back to anything other than E85 though. With E85 on a 105 degree day the engine and cooling system still thinks its 50 degrees out.
I'll probably be using E85 for my high-boost tune up. I see no reason not to since there is a station 10min from my house. I do have a 30gal Gas Caddy that I will use to store it in. On the flip side, I have no reason to use it as a daily fuel.
