I assume since the window switch is just looking for a signal, it doesn't pull enough current to affect engine operation? Does is matter which side of the motor I pull signal from?

I assume each wire goes to a different coil then? SO it doesn't matter which one i pick?

I've heard of false readings from tapping coil pack location. I went to the fuse box located under the hood. Separate the box and look in middle section. #3 white wire is tach wire. Strip insulation and solder. Run wire through passenger grommet, behind radio and mounted box under driver dash.

Is there a corresponding fuse that could be tapped from inside the fusebox?

I'm 99.9% sure that wire's not fused.
I've never had a problem with tapping the coil. You can also tap an injector.

I'm going to shoot for the #3 white wire under the fusebox. This should help keep the installation clean-looking.

Thank you all for your help.
