right off the coil pack connector, i think the green wire ill check when i get home
I assume since the window switch is just looking for a signal, it doesn't pull enough current to affect engine operation? Does is matter which side of the motor I pull signal from?
You have a pink, black, reference low and 4 other wires in the harness going to all of the coils The wire colors are purple, red, lt blu, and green. pick one of those 4 and tap it.

I assume each wire goes to a different coil then? SO it doesn't matter which one i pick?
I've heard of false readings from tapping coil pack location. I went to the fuse box located under the hood. Separate the box and look in middle section. #3 white wire is tach wire. Strip insulation and solder. Run wire through passenger grommet, behind radio and mounted box under driver dash.

Is there a corresponding fuse that could be tapped from inside the fusebox?
