making it work
now that I know what Im talking about,
as you can see the new shaft is not compatible as advertised for the A4 C5 2002 corvette and also has a run out of .030in which is disappointing.
The new drive shaft needs to be modified, no big deal for a machine shop, Just bore out the pin hole and put a receiving brass bushing in it. MB actually has a stock part for this application!

How I fixed the new drive shaft.
I put this together to show the alignment
work was done by Cardanic Drive-Line & Machine at 175 Toryork Dr, Toronto, ON M9L 2Y7.
The correct parts are made, both MB and BMW make a center bushing, the question is why dont the "expert" shaft builders use them?
