meth & TVS
so on my way PCSing from Pensacola to Dyess, i stopped in Houston to see some Camaro5 friends @ Advanced Racing Dynamics & had Owen retune my car for the TX atmosphere, and i figured i may as well make a new tune worth it, so i went ahead & dropped from the 3.3 pulley on the TVS2300 to a 2.9
we went from 7.5 to 10psi (with a 1/4" shorter belt, it should kill the little bit of tension slip for almost 11psi) and combined with better knowledge of tuning, went from 480/473 to 520/527.
then we got to talking about my long-term goals & stroker motors. one thing that came up was the issue of meth & how Magnuson cries about the rotor coating, but a few people are spraying through TVSs with no issue. then we got to thinking... what about a direct-port system? would it be possible to rig up a direct-port nitrous setup on the Maggie manifold & then run meth through it without any problems?
thoughts - suggestions?
