hey this might nbe a stupid problem but need it gone i took my procharger off to change the oil in it and put it back on no it sounds like there is a bird under my hood.any idea's thx
Contamination on the belt more than likely. Spray some brake cleaner on the belt while it's running making the noise and if it goes away for a second the it's the belt making the noise. If it does not then look a little deeper such as a pulley or maybe blower. Bet it's the belt.
As long as it is filled back up with the Procharger oil and with the full 6oz you should be fine!
Do as stated above and start looking at the Belt - but just an FYI and you probably know already that Prochargers have that BIRDY whistle sound - now unless yours is more prominent than before after the oil change then there might be more to it -
But give the above stated a go first! and make sure the belt is as tight as before!
Can you make a video or sound clip for us? that will help us hear and see what you are!
hey thanks for the help.come to find out one of the ribs on the belt was off one rib on the pully what a noise it makes you would never think something that small would make so much noise thanks again.
