So I have stock ls1 heads on my car now. I may change them to some 317 truck heads(stock unported) and do headstuds in the process.
A&A Si 3.6 pulley
blower cam
headers
meth
Makes 10 pounds of boost now. What kind of boost would it make after the swap? What kind of gains will I get? Will the drop in compression off set the better flow capabilities of the 317 heads and make the gains minimal? All assuming I keep the 3.6 pulley. I am hoping that it will relieve some boost pressure and with the lower compression it will make a little more power but be safer from detonation.

i would just pulley down and add another meth nozzle, the 317 wont make a big enough difference to go through all that for so little.

I should have stated it earlier I have a blown head gasket and my tuner already has some heads that I am getting a good price on. So its one of those since I am in there things.
If I was in your shoes, do the heads and studs. Might as well pulley down since it will need to be tuned anyways. Get knock.....add a second nozzle. Let her eat lol
I would go for it since the heads have to come off anyways
My only thing against it is spending the money on this or just going forged. I might just baby it until I build it I was looking stock cube but after getting a quote on it I am now looking to build a 402.
