Default Catch Can Hose Spec?

I'm looking at improving my catch can/pcv solution and want to run higher diameter hose to the can and fittings.

What is the spec of hose to be used? Any brand names/part numbers?

I've heard that it's a bad idea to use vacuum hose as the oil will eat through it eventually.

Thanks!

I replaced mine just to clean things up under the hood with power steering hose 3/8 100psi from Autozone. It was shipped to me with fuel line hose originally.

That sounds really slick. Any chance you could post pics of that?
