NX purge valve problem, can you help?
Finished my NX switch panel and system, I powered up the switched 12v to arm the system and found this goofy problem. The bottle heater and remote opener work fine, however the purge valve will not work. I checked for 12v on the purge switch and I have 12v. I then checked continuety with the switch and it's ok. I removed the purge power line from the switch and ran a jumper directly to the battery positive. Each time I touch positive the purge snaps open so I think my ground and valve is ok. The only thing I can think of is the 12v does not have the amps to open the purge valve. The power source I used is the acc. plug in the pass footwell What do you think?

Did the purge kit not come with a relay? Did the instructions not say anything about a relay? If all your power for the purge is running through the switch it either won't open or you are running too much power through the switch. Go back through the instructions and make sure all your wiring is like it is supposed to be. I think you will find your problem :cheers:
