ditched cradle spacers and KEEP 4" intake pic HEAVY
well guys i didnt like the idea of having my cradle lowerd so i decide to mod my cradle so that it would lower my radi and condenser without the acutal cradle lowered or radi tilted. It was a bit of work but little things like that bother me alot. I like things to look like it came out the factory that way. Some call it OCD lol
I stayed up till 4 am sitting under my car, thinking about what to do to get my cradle tucked higher in the car but still keep my 4" intake pipe. This is what i did.
I had to cut and reweld the MOUNTING PADS father down on the cradle , "massage" the ac condenser a tad, trim the fan shoud and lower the fan shroud. everything fits great now. just like it did with the spacers in it. The radi nor condenser sit below the cradle either.
enjoy
MONEY SHOT I JUST HAD TO SHARE
Had to "dent" my 4" intake to get it to fit over the condenser and freaking dented the other side as well. guess ill have to make another on.

I think this started back in 2003/4?? chop the crossbar and move it forward; Cut/weld radiator cradle/extend radiator hoses/massage AC cond line/Done.
Here's a cradle my uncle mod'd back in the day

Many thanks for sharing pictures, now i got 80% idea what to do in next couple weeks, bret pmed me and gave instructions just like what you did, and now its comfirmed i gotta do it.
Now the worst part i got the wrong 4" pipe from treadstone instead of 45 degree they sent me 70 degree, however Arun took that and said he has 4" 45 deg somewhere.
Looking good.

You can also do what I did.
I just removed the two tabs, and re-welded them to the front of the cross bar.
No need to relocate the entire bar.
This gave me plenty of clearance for the 4" APS charge pipe.

on a&a supercharger kits, the intercooler sits in front of the radiator. so you can't move the radi forward at all bc it would hinder air flow to the condenser and radi. there is only about 6 inches from the condenser to the intercooler now. I also didn't want the crossbar hanging down any further the the two skid bars. I have put ALOT of thought into this procedure
