Split windshield washer reservoir tank/Meth tank?
I was wondering with all the guys running Meth, it seems many use the windshield washer reservoir tank. That's great and all but where do you put your windshield washer cleaner? I know some of the guys prob don't need or care about it...but what about those that do still want to be able to clean their windshields? Anybody make a windshield washer reservoir tank that is split inside?...so basically it has 2 tanks in the one? Or does anybody make 2 separate smaller tanks that mount in the same area as the stock one? Might be a great potential for a vendor to pick up on this? Ideas/thoughts?

True Meth won't eat through the rubber hoses? When it drips down on the paint it won't affect that either? Sorry Iam a newby when it comes to Meth. Thought it was alcohol based?
I just read an article but find myself more confused now...So meth is basically 50/50 alcohol and water and this gets injected into the motor? Help me out...don't water and gas not want to mix? Isn't injected water into a motor a big no no? Is the meth not being injected into the motor and it is going somewhere else? Man I hate being a newby on this lol but hey ya gotta learn from someplace.

Water being injected into a motor is a great idea... Been used since the 40's with old fighter planes... Remember, water is H2O... and the O is what you want!!! No don't go trying to run a water hose down your intake ..that's a big no no.. Your right for the most part, if you have to clean your windshield that bad.. your not taking care of your vette.. and probably not doing the vette wave either!!! hahaha

Meth = Methanol......... Methanol, also known as methyl alcohol, wood alcohol, wood naphtha or wood spirits....
Windshield Washer Fluid has a large percentage of Methanol. Some types and brands may use different chemicals to suit specific tasks..... check out this MSDS sheet for a WWF sold/used at Wal-mart.

I'm gonna buy a couple five galllon jugs or whatever Methanol is contained in and just mix my own Meth/Windshield Washer Fluid.

I heard of guys installing a much smaller bottle to hold washer fluid, as you would use the washer less than the meth.
I might try to research this for myself at some point.

I found this tank in the garage and used it. I think it was holding battery fluid at first

I've often wondered how well a C6 WW tank would fit in a C5. If it does fit, it'll fit behind the existing one and go down into the fender. One day I may buy one and try it.

Windshield Wiper or Meth:
I had the same problem, had the need for wipers occasionally. Since I moved my battery to the trunk I used that area and installed a Canton recovery tank that I modified to hold the wiper fluid pump...works fine and I don't think it looks that bad.
