What I have is a hc 346 full bolt on w a a and a p1sc. I'm running a 4 in upper and yielding 9 psi. I don't think I'm getting any belt slip now. I'm wanting to go to maybe a 3.6. Thoughts?

There are way too many variables to answer that IMO. You can have two different cars with the exact same setup, built and set up by different shops/people and one will have an issue and one won't.

To help answer your question though, it really depends on what bracket you have. Run-of-the-mill Procharger bracket setups will fair worse than ECS and A&A. That's a huge contributing factor as to why ECS and A&A are so successful.

I have a 1st gen A and A bracket. So far very little dust on the blower pulley and havent checked the crank pulley yet.

THe boost keep climbing and doest fall off through the whole pull.

plans over the winter are to at least get a direct or flip drive, lower od crank pulley and maybe rebuild the p1 to d1 specs.

I got my 8 rib going with no slip yet. My tuner was impressed by the power the car made and attributed it to the extra belt traction.

Now here is the real flyer, I have the stage 1 Procharger bracket with a P1 3.6" pulley 3" idlers the small twin intercoolers and 6 rib and zero belt dust.
However I believe several other factors come into play I have an A4 that has a 2600 stall PI converter with a 3.42 axle.
I would suspect anyone with a manual trans would have slip issues.
Like said previously way to many variables to make any kind of blanket statement.
