Default Rear mount size

I'm going to be doing a rear mount setup soon and am torn between what turbo size I want. I'ts going to be twins, but I'm torn between either T3/T04B snails or GT30 snails. Power goal of 550whp for now. Maybe later up to 700ish if I build the bottome end. Both sizes will accomplish either goal. Initial boost would be in the 6-7psi range. I believe STS's kit has the t3/t04b's on it and end up spooling around 4500ish RPM. The GT30's should spool a touch sooner (esp with a .48 a/r turbine houseing), but I'm not sure if that would be a good thing or a bad thing. It seems good because 4500 seems a bit late, but on the same hand, spooling too soon leaves you with nothing but traction issues. Thoughts?

Interesting. The S252s are even smaller than a GT30. Closer to a GT28. Where do they spool at and how do you like it there?

run .48 housings, you will run out of steam with anything smaller with your HP goals. also wrap your exhaust and spool time will decrease substantially. If you want to grow in power buy the to4b turbos now because they are cheap.

I never ran the originals to compare, as the previous owner of the kit upgraded. Im just going by the invoices he sent. I think the Bullseyes are 46 or 48s, Id have to look it up. They arent ball bearing, but due to the design they spool quickly. And yeah, That little bit of lag helps to keep from blowing off the tires. I run 10# now on a fairly conservative tune, and there is a LOT left in them.
BTW, yes, 1.5 " on the charge pipe[i think.]
