not sure why it doesn't come with the kit u don't really need it just adds protection so your not hooked up direct brett can tell us more

keeps you from frying your fuse box if your pump fails melts the relay instead!! but like I said brett knows more

That's what most good tuners will tell you. Mine gets pissed if I touch it after it is tuned.

Funny you said "no worries, I'm not going to start installing it for a while" and then I read this.

Give me a call tomorrow and I'll go over a few things with you.
Scotty's right. Put the controller away. You don't need to mess with it. Pull the carpet back on the side of the console and tuck it away there.

Mike is way smarter than to do that, he has gone through a lot up till now with his new motor! Glad you got an Alkey system man, when are you going to get it on the rollers?

I have electrical tape over the dial and it's tucked away as to not be touched unless my tuner says otherwise!

I like having the control box mounted where I can get to it easy just so I can hit the test button from time to time to make sure its working and primed...especially if the car has been sitting for a while.

I'd rather test bog it in the drive way as opposed to going pounding on it and not notice the led is not on....

Default My car is a meth addict

Well pretty much done with all the wiring. Waiting on the TB to intercooler pipe and relay. Almost time to go make some serious power!

I stuck the control unit in the ash tray along with the line-loc.
Easy to test and see if it is on (power wise). I still have the
cig lighter, for a power source.
