Default Boost and altitude

Hi, next week i will go and race in the mountain and my question
is...

If i see 5 psi boost at sea level, and have no problem, can i increase boost
to lets say 7 psi and have the same result as at sea level ?

If i dont increase boost, i will run richer ? right ?

Here in Colorado I live at an altitude of 7000 feet. In my experience at this altitude with a roots blower and currently a Powerdyne (not on a Vette) I loose slightly more than 2psi of boost. If the enrichment is taking into account manifold pressure, MAP sensor, you may be ok. If the enrichment is via an FMU it will probably be too rich if you loose a couple of psi of boost.

Do you have a turbo or a s/c? Turbo will have a have a wastegate that will keep you at the 5psi. 5psi of boost is 5psi of boost no matter what the atmospheric pressure is. Plus the MAF should account for the thinner air anyway so you should run rich
