Default Newly SC'd: Dyno Sheets Inside!

Good day everyone. So after months and months of planning, purchasing parts, and talking to people...my car if finally tuned with the new supercharger. First off, I want to thank Rich from Abel Chevy, Ryan (69dodgecharger), Arun, and Mark Romans (my tuner). Without all of their help and knowledge this would not have been possible. Also, thanks to everyone else that contributed to my questions for the past year on this topic.

The car seems to run great but I wanted to post the sheets on here as I wanted others that are familiar with tuning to tell me what they think.

The following mods were done: Vortech A&A V2 (3.6 pulley), 3.42 rear, 243 (ls2) heads with aftermarket valvetrain, ls6 cam, other supporting mods.

What's up with that air fuel curve after 5500?

Better get that rechecked.

Congrats on jumping into the FI world..

That is exactly why I posted. I wanted to know your input on the tune. What should I be looking for with AFR throughout the RPM range? Is the AFR suppose to go up and down like that or should it be stable?

your af should be pretty flat, that is way too lean. ALso what did you pull to? Looks to be belt slip at 6300.

Well, I think this is a bit sensitive issue.

I'm not certainly an expert, but AFR should be fairly constant during WOT, but since it's just a guess which numbers are available in the pics you posted, it is difficult to say anything.

HP Tuners (or EFILive etc.) logs would tell more, but I guess they reside in your tuners laptop.

So, should I go back to my tuner and demand that the AFR be flat throughout the rpm range? How can I tell if I am having belt slippage?

I would say you should be around 11.3 from 5k to redline... 12 + is too lean IMO for a boosted car... Now if you were NA it would be a different story.

Looks like the pull was stopped at 6400 RPMs

Well, that's what I meant when I said it's a bit sensitive issue. You can't blame your tuner just because of this thread, I think..

However, I would tune it so that there's a flat AFR during WOT.

It should be pretty flat and it doesnt look like its slipping to me... You can check to see if you have belt dust around the pulleys and on the belt it self

Im surprised Mark Romans let it leave like that... Hes a pretty good tuner from my understanding

How much timing? You are still running stock manifolds and cats correct? A4 or m6? Fueling definitely needs some work. What is done to your fuel system?

Not sure on your question about "how much timing"?? I am still running stock manifolds, and cats. A4. Fuel system: BAP and 60lbs injectors that came with the kit. That's it.

To youngrigo - Did not notice any belt dust at all in the engine bay or on the belt itself.

The tuner has it fairly rich at under 11.0:1 A/F - but I think you're probably maxing out the MAF above 6200rpm and the tuner isn't "raping" the PE table to compensate. If it were me, I'd ask the tuner to set the rev-limiter to 6200rpm

The rev limiter was at 6200 when we started. He bumped it to 6600 or 6500 (can't recall which). I will give him a call to discuss the AFR.

AFR is way rich and needs to be cleaned up, do it in increments, not all at once.. You also need to find out how much timing he has tuned in all through the rpm range. Are you running meth injection? how much boost are you seeing? with your numbers, I would say 5-6 psi?

No meth. Not sure on the boost as my tuner did not inform me. With the 3.6 pulley, I would say between 7-8lbs.

7-8 lbs sound about right with your mods and HP... Looks like its to rich down low and to lean up top...

looking the spreadsheet it looks like he got out of it at 6400 where is was 12.0 af. Thats safe but right there on the edge imo. I run 11.0 on e85 and made good power. We may lean on it but Id rather be safe than sorry.
