He didn't get any runs because he was having an issue with his tune and the torque converter lockout. He could only stay for a day and he had to go. But Doug figured it out for him apparently.

So Doug did find the time to look at Clown's car.

Sucks he had to wait on the cars that traveled 14 hrs to race & had problems like Dave's car, which we finished up earlier that morning.
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/drag...smissions.html

But I do believe if Clown really wanted to race, bought a tech card (and showed up early) Doug would have got his tune squared away to race right away.

Hell, I might have helped fix his new headlight mod

OK Jay, you started this madness so remember that!

I drove down to Indy to meet you and the other ECS guys (160 miles) I came down with the intention that Doug would look at my tune about my TC not locking up and get a few passes in!

When I arrived, Doug was busy with the True Street process and I waited. While doing so You were bitching to me that your car was not going as fast as you had hoped. During that boring time I needed to fix my headlight witch you had some of the tools to fix it. You were so wrapped up in your car and other BS that you didn't care less about me or my issue. I went to RPMs trailer and they gave me the tools to fix my problem and I returned them with a big thanks. You did nothing to help me out and just sat there bitching about your car!

I drove down to Indy to get my TC fixed and hoping for a nice pass all in one trip, but you seem to want to bitch about me using your tools and zip strap, I thought us ECS guys were on the same page as far as helping each other out, but you made it clear you were out for yourself only.

I don't play that game and you were an *** to even start this thread! I will NEVER ask you to use your tools and you can go 8s or whatever by yourself! Your a jackass

I want to say thanks to Doug (ECS) Shawn (2003VETTE) Dave(Digivex) as they all helped and were great guys to meet. Wish I could have spent more time with you guys. Have a good one!

Jay, go get a Diaper you bed wetter! Man up and don't F**k your buddies on the same team

I am actually pissed at this stupid ****! Really thought ECS guys were better than this, but I guess there is always that 1 that has to be an *** and F' **** up for the others! The one that thinks he is above all the rest!

Take your 8 sec pass and put it where the sun don't shine and enjoy it all by yourself!

Sounds like you could have started a thread about that

Bring your ride to Jersey bro and we'll meet your 9 sec goal, and if it don't work out I'll let you fix my headlight.

Sure, sounds great, I have nothing better to do than to drive 1000 miles for a slip, I'll get right on that! I'll even bring the proper tools to fix a head light!

That's a very nice offer, but if you drove 1000 miles for a slip (and was having problems) I wouldn't bug you about fixing my headlight.

It doesn't matter anyway, I was just busting your *****.

Maybe we can go have a milk shake next time we meet.

Same as it did before he came, great, just couldn't hook up.

And I didn't really blow him off, I just kept telling him I got some tape he can have to keep his headlight up.

He gave me a dumb look, so I kept it going.

(if he really needed help (bad) I would have helped him of course)

So it was just a head light problem keeping him from going down the track

No he's been having an issue with his torque converter locking up. He went down there to have Doug fix it and then possibly make some runs but they just couldn't get to it intime before he had to leave.
