Guys, I was hoping this thread would fade away so Clown would start posting again.

Sound like a good idea?

I like Blitz. Never met him but if he was on the west coast, I'd buy him a beer or two!! Might even try to talk him into dropping by A&A and checking out YSI's. He would be in the 9's real fast!

Actually, everyone here on the Forum has gone faster than Arun, we just didn't post it either.

We all thought it was funny as hell except him. Cried all weekend about it. We were at a racing event not at Mardi Grias. Kris and I love fast cars and meeting gear heads. Clown I guess had a hall pass from his wife. So he wanted to party. None of the rest of us wanted to do that. He was kind of like a case of the crabs you couldn't get rid of. Just tried to be nice to him but he didn't get it. Not trying to attack you Clown. Time and place for everything.

Here's the truth as well, I drove down to BG to watch racing and meet a bunch of forum guys. Also hoped to have some drinks and enjoy myself with some laughs as thats what I like to do once in a while. I didn't know that we would be hanging out at Steak N Shake at 11:00pm harassing 19 year old waitresses, just not my thing.

If there was Whiskey in the shake I may have changed mind!

It's ok that we didn't get along Shane, sometimes thats just the way things roll! And for the record, that weekend was the perfect time and the perfect place, Go suck on your shake, I'm going to go get another beer!

Also just for the record, Jay did not help me with my headlight, I fixed it myself. I needed a torx #20 and an 8mm socket that he did not have, so I walked over to RPMs trailed and borrowed the 20 and 8mm. I couldn't find a bolt to fit so I used a big zip strap to get me home, it worked well. No Duct tape was used at any time.

I installed ACA headlights earlier in the week and the factory pin from the headlight motor to the headlight fell out on the drive down to Indy.

Thanks for letting me use your tools Jay, I had no idea that it would come with a special thread in my honor

I have those same headlights in my racing street car race car and had the same problem. I replaced the pin with a bolt w/ locking nut and it's worked okay since then

Jay went 161-2 (I dont remember exactly) during the real street race. The results are pretty easy to look up, but again we race for ET, some have to use anything they can.

Would you guys be happier if we made a big post about it? I didnt want to rain on Arun's MPH parade?

Go ahead and post about it. So a year later it takes a race car to beat a record set by a street car? Stop the presses, new headline, Race car goes Faster than Street car-Bravo-pat yourself on the back boys!

Congrats to Jay but this must of happened on Jay's 3rd motor after he pulled out his TR6's plugs?
