Default Who makes a 3" axle back exhaust?

I have a 408 procharged 02 z and have too much back pressure because of 2 1/2" axle back Corsa exhaust. I modified a 3" SPL exhaust (no cats) so I am good back to the axle. I have a 3" axle back B&B exhaust but it necks down to 2 1/2" to hook up to the factory exhaust. The other issue is I have a tiger shark rear bumper. On the Corsa I just cut off the outside tips and patched the holes. The B&B is stainless so I have no way to weld a patch over the holes if they would work.

Does anyone make a full 3" exhaust for a tiger shark bumper or at least a regular steel 3" so I can patch the holes after modifying? Ken

XS Power makes a nice 3". I have it and it sounds great and no drone inside. Full size, straight flow mufflers. Not bad for $700

Then have it done elsewhere, stainless is weldable

From the muffler forward is 2 1/2". I figured even if that did work I would probably have well above $100 in travel and welding, so I will just sell them and the corsa and might buy the LG Big 3.

It looks like I would have to cut off 2 of the tips, so maybe not.

I left out the part where I blew the back 2 corsa's off of the car. Was nailing it in 2nd gear and hit the rev-limiter, then I slowly shifted into 3rd and hit it again. As soon as I hit the throttle in 3rd I heard a pop and then the rumble of open exhaust. Something was dragging on the pavement so I slowed down and moved over on the grass shoulder then stopped. When I got out of the car and looked behind it, laying 5 feet from the back of the car were both mufflers. Really a funny moment and incurred no damage. I guess the unburnt fuel from hitting the rev-limiter (no cats) along with the methanol spray blew the mufflers off.

XS Power has 4 tips..

BTW the muffler clamp in the pic was only temporary until I could weld it. The clamps that come with the XS power system suck. Other then that, I love the system..

$400 cheaper then the LG system is hard to argue..

I have a 3 inch stainless works system for sale cheap, if you want. It is located at ECS right now... has cat back and full mid pipe section with cats that were gutted.

I can't use the section that bolts up to the headers. The used headers I purchased didn't line up with stock type center section so I had to cut and weld the ends to line up with the headers.

Has anyone out there moved the rear hanger position more to the center so that the tips will fit in the tiger shark bumper? I only found one comment about this. It would seem that the tips would be ****-eyed.

Were doing a re-design on the LG Motorsports Big 3, just some updates and rolling model changes. They should be back on the shelf in a few weeks.

The 2 tip is 799$ and 4 tip is 999$, and we will probably have some specials around christmas due to the update.

If you want it with no tips, or custom spaced tips, I can do that. We have done tigershark bumpers and custom setups before with out a hitch, just takes a little lead time to make it happen.

Any chance of a Black Friday sale on these or is that too soon? Would like to stay LG since I have the Pros and x pipe already.

LG Big 3 is on backorder.

BTW, The stainless works and XSPpower current versions all have a 2.5" muffler exit, (I think stainless works used to be 3" all the way, but if you look now, the muffler exit looks like its 3", but the pipes going to the tips are 2.5").

According to XSpower they went to 2.5" on the muffler exit to get rid of drone. But it then doesnt really make it a 3" system. The stainless works system weighs the most, because it uses the heaviest/thickest stainless.
