Have you changed the map sensor from a 2 bar to a 3 bar or anything.

How does it work using the test button?

Should make the "WEEEEE" sound from the pump when you push test.

When you push test it simulates the kit activating. So you should hear the PWM sound(WEEEE).

Check voltage applied to controller, check ground where controller is tied too, and reply with if it works with test button or not. The +12 applied on red and black wires to controller should stay steady when you push test or applied signal to the map sensor(air). If it drops.. then who knows. At that point dirty connections would exist.

Could even be a bad controller. Never seen one activate and start sending signal then quit.. then activate. Unless there is a poor power/ground connection.

Post back.. one thing for sure.. I can only learn from issues. When things are perfect there is no learning.

Julio, thanks for getting back to me so fast. I did what you said after I let the battery charge all night. Light was red, then turned green. Nothing like before. Did my tests again and the outcome was good. Also replaced the battery.

I went ahead and did a pull. Things look better and it did have some KR

Before I do another pull I am going to send my data log to Bret and wait for that methanol pressure sensor.

PS. The car is still fast as hell

That meth system can draw up to 15 amps. Being thats the pump is an inductive load that can be X3 that amount in current. So it is important for battery and power connections to be rock solid. Glad it was a simple deal, the light pulsing when it kicked on was probably a good indicator of the issue. Battery chargers dont make good power supplies. They are good to maintain a battery, but the in-rush current probably went beyond. Example you set the charger on 10A.. the pump pulls 12a on the activation..controller acts weird.

Get that target afr down some.. that will give you some cushion
