Default Fixing to be Force Fed

What's up guys. Im fixing to pull the trigger on an A&A kit. Aside from the blower kit , will i need to purchase anything else as far a set of gauges such as a Boost, Fuel pressure, and Wide band gauge to keep a monitor of what my car is doing? Also how much borrowed time do i have on my Mn6 transmission.?

I am not An expert but I would say yes you will need gauges at least a/f and boost, as far as the transmission depends on hard you drive it , u have stock clutch? And only other mod u might consider now or later is springs.

Im thinking of going with the Ysi kit just so that i dont have to waste more money down the road in upgrading the head unit. Currently the car has a custom grind cam kit, kooks 1 7/8 long tubes with high flow cats and stock Ti catback, Vararam intake, High volume oil pump and Ls7 lifters.

The car does have a Monster stage 3 clutch. I occasionally take it to the track but only like once a month if that . With my current setup I dump the clutch at 4k rpm's. The car does have dual valve springs. I just wasn't sure if i was needing some type of brace for my rear end to keep it from coming apart with all the extra torque it will be receiving whenever i launch it hard at the track. My car typically sees about 150 miles a month if that, not a daily driver.

you don't need a boost gauge or really an A/F gauge for that matter.. boost is consistent and as long as you have a wide band input for a tuner to read, that's about it. 99% of people cant drive and look at gauges at the same time anyways, just put the money to something else.

I agree, but I had a cutout issue or power drop issue and having the ability to read both boost and fuel pressure all the time gave me information I really needed.

First, my fuel pressure was dropping when going into boost and required an upgraded fuel system. Glad I had a gauge to see this before i toasted a motor.

Just my 2 cents

I appreciate the advice guys, i might just consider it. One question, what would cause the fumes inside the headers to reignite and make a loud popping noise through the exhaust? Or does a valve that is hanging doing that. Im fixing to buy the blower but i might hesitate if i need to do some head work.
