Dewitts Rad install w/pics
A couple months ago I bought the cut down radiator through Arun's GP. This weekend I bought the Spal fans during Dewitts' Black Friday Sale. So the plan is to install both and hopefully get a straight shot intake on the blower. I'll do my best attempt at a write-up since I know we all love them.
Now for some pichers....
Before
The ECS kit already uses 4" tubing, but there is a small turn up off the blower.
Removed the blower intake.
Removed intake tube, radiator cover, and intercooler cover.
Removed the air damn to have more room and drained the coolant.
Disconnected 2 fan connectors and harness clips on fan shroud.
Disconnect upper and lower radiator hoses and two coolant hoses on passenger side.
Pulled out fan shroud then pulled radiator out. Radiator was filthy!
Done for tonight....
Should get the fans next week so I can finish up. I'm going to pull the EBCM now that its easy to get to and have it fixed so I don't get the dreaded C1214 code anymore. I'll update this soon

Never got a chance to update the finished product. The Dewitts and Spal fans work great. The car runs cooler than ever and when those fans turn on you can really hear the air they move! I ordered a longer 4" pipe for the blower intake and cut it to size to fit. Everything fits great. I haven't really put my foot down but I'm wondering if I will pick up a pound or two of boost with the straight intake. I'll find out soon I guess.
